Array of funding expertise to be found at forthcoming London Stock Exchange event

An impressive array of speakers has been amassed by the London Stock Exchange ahead of their company funding seminar to be held at the Advanced Manufacturing Park next month.

Speakers include Barry Cunliffe the Chief Financial Officer of Sheffield-based ITM Power plc and industry experts from Barber Harrison & Platt (BHP), Hill Dickinson, Grant Thornton, Yorkshire Association of Business Angels (YABA) and the London Stock Exchange themselves.

The aim of the event, is to provide an overview of the funding ladder from an equity perspective, providing a detailed guide to the funding options available during the lifecycle of a company. It will take place on Thursday 1st December 2011 (8.30am - 2pm), at the AMP Technology Centre, Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) in Rotherham.

The seminar will be useful for stakeholders, Chief Executives, Managing Directors and Finance Directors of; companies wishing to learn more about, or who are considering stock market flotation; fast growing, entrepreneurial companies who are looking for a cash injection; and companies with private equity investment looking for an exit strategy.

The seminar will cover topics including, finding out what a flotation could do for your business and hearing what angel and VC investors look for in their investments. It is an opportunity for companies to ask relevant and pertinent questions to a panel of experts, gain from the experiences of a company director who has experienced various forms of finance, and network with people with similar aspirations.
