Advanced Manufacturing Park


The Advanced Manufacturing Park (AMP) is the UK’s premier advanced manufacturing technology park, providing world-class advanced manufacturing technology solutions to ensure repetitive advantage for industry.

Technologies on the AMP centre on materials and structures, covering metallic and composite materials. Typically they are used in precision industries including aerospace, automotive, medical devices, sport, environmental and energy, oil and gas, defence and construction.

The AMP is located within an Enterprise Zone (EZ), which offers investing companies a series of incentives.

Technology developed on the AMP is already being utilised in leading edge projects, such as within Formula One and the next generation of military and commercial aircraft, including the new Boeing 787 
Dreamliner.

The AMP is home to world-class research and manufacturing organisations and has two of the UK Government's High Value Catapult centres in the  AMRC (a Boeing / University of Sheffield partnership) and the Nuclear AMRC. It is also home to Rolls-Royce’s Advanced Blade Casting Facility, Castings Technology International (Cti), Sandvik Coromant, TWI’s Yorkshire Technology Centre, Nikken Kosakusho, Xeros and many others.

The AMP offers a full range of property and development opportunities, from small office and workshop space, through medium-sized hybrid & light industrial units, to larger custom-built design and build options.
